Sad Day for a Horse Barn Owner
Last month a trainer and horse barn owner by the name of Joe Smith had his horse barn burn down. Many people were shocked and saddened, they decided to help any way they could. Joe Smith is a former student of WWCC and currently lives on Lindsey Creek Property, east of Lewiston, Idaho. When the fire hit his barn, he lost 2 of his own stallions and 5 of his boarders. It was truely a sad day for many.
Happy Trails 4-H Club decided to give $50.00 as a gift to Joe Smith. NWQHA is taking donations and can be dropped off for "Joe Smiths Fire Relief Fund" at both Bank of Whitman and Wells Fargo. Joe Smith is a huge supporter of local horse shows. Happy Trails 4-H Club is sad this happened and were happy to give.
