If you want to spend the weekend watching or chasing hot air balloons, this is a weekend for you to visit walla walla or if you live here to invite all your balloon loving friends. The Walla Walla Chamber always puts on a great event with the help from many local sponsors and volunteers.

Balloon Stampede
[b]Weather cooperating on a beautiful spring night, we were able to witness the burning glow from the hot air balloons.[/b]
Another successful night glow and nearing towards the end of the weekend. Weather permiting on sunday morning we may see another sunrise launch of balloons. There are a multitude of small booths with many interesting items with a few of them being practicle and useful. Also with most events you can get your fill on hot dogs w/kraut, popcorn, cotton candy and many other types of "fair food".

If your visiting Walla Walla for the Balloons or you are an area resident, you can't help but notice the buzz from the Hot Air Balloons.
The Balloons will hopefully enjoy beautiful weather so that they will be able to have many successful launches. There is a wonderful schedule of activities that revolve around the stampede, but while your visiting or have visitors in your house make sure you get the full tour of Walla Walla.
