Representatives of the Council on Child Abuse Prevention are hosting the second annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, a walk against child abuse. The goal of the walk is to educate and raise community awareness about child abuse.
please come out and participate as a walker. The walk will occur on March 27, 2010, at Pioneer Park from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. This is a family event including activities for the children. There will be music, speakers, and informational booths. We will be walking the perimeter of Pioneer Park, which is 1.34 miles, once at 11:00 a.m. and a second time at 2:00 p.m.
