On Saturday, September 22, 2007 The Karate Center is hosting a Street Defense Tactics Seminar conducted by visiting instructor Alexander Archie.
This is a unique opportunity for participants to learn from the best as Alexander teaches searching and cuffing, weapon disarmament, come-a-longs, grappling, cell removal, and more.
Grandmaster
Alexander Archie is a 9th Degree Black Belt in the art of
Goju-Shorei Karate. He has been training in the martial arts since 1949 and holds Masters Degrees in six different styles of the martial arts. Mr. Archie is a veteran instructor of law enforcement defensive tactics, specializing in weapon retention, knife defense, gun defense, club defense and restraint techniques, come-a-longs and hold breaking. He also teaches and certifies the straight baton and tonfa (PR-24), as well as teaching grappling.
The seminar will be held from 10:00AM to 2:30PM at The Karate Center and the cost is $70.00 per person. Anyone interested may call The Karate Center at (509) 529-8809 to pre-register, as space is limited to 20 participants. The Karate Center is located at 9 W Birch Street in Walla Walla.
