A goal is more that something we would like to achieve, it is essential for personal growth, and well being. It is so important we need to set a date for achievement. With assigning a date or deadline we are more likely to get started and to achieve the goal in a timely fashion. After setting the goal, plus the date of achievement now you need a success plan. Set short term and long term goals so you know what you need to do and the goals do not seem to be unrealistic or out of reach.
Set yourself up for Success! Put your goals in writing, check it everyday, write down what steps you took to achieve your goals. Make a public commitment of your goal, reach out for support from your community, your family and your friends, this makes us try harder so we won't quit until we have reached success and goal achievement. Know what you want, have a plan, take consistent action and review plus renew your goals.
