Pounds will Melt Away

Then you have something in common with thousands of other people in the world. You’re about to learn 3 simple ways to loose weight without having to spend an hour on the treadmill.

Eat 5 Meals a Day

Watch those pounds melt away by changing your diet. Eat 5 meals a day instead of three. This will speed up your metabolism and help your body burn fat more efficiently. It’s really that simple. Eat your snacks half way between meals. Have breakfast, then a snack around 10:00, have lunch and then a snack around 3:00. Then eat a modest dinner. Every time you eat a large meal, your body is using lots of energy to digest the food. When energy is being used in the digestion process you’ll feel the lack of energy in the rest of your body. By cutting down on the size of your meals your body won’t need to waste as much energy digesting the food, therefore you’ll feel more energetic throughout the day. With more energy you’re more apt to get up and move around to burn even more calories.

When planning your meals, concentrate on eating fresh foods such as fruits, vegetables, protein, nuts, olives, beans, whole grains, fish, tuna, yogurt, and other healthy foods. Have a moderate breakfast such as a bowl of cereal, piece of toast, English muffin. Think about what you would usually eat at lunch and break that into 3 separate meals. If you would usually have a sandwich, fruit and green beans, then at 10:00am eat a piece of fruit, at 12:00pm have a sandwich and at 3:00pm have some green beans. You might even want to consider using just one piece of bread for your sandwich. You’ll be getting the same amount of food, but your body will process it better and burn more calories. For dinner, try and balance your food by eating a protein, vegetable, beans or whole grains. You’ll be amazed at how satisfied you feel throughout the day and you’ll jump for joy when you step on the scale at the end of the week.

Exercise for 10 Minutes 3 Times per Day

Instead of finding a 30 or 60 minute window of time in your day to exercise, you could take 10 minutes in the morning, afternoon and evening and do some aerobic exercise. Ten minutes pass quickly and you’ll be done exercising before you have time to get bored. This will increase your metabolism three times a day, helping your body burn more calories. You could do any type of workout. Go for a 10 minute speed walk, bike or walk the treadmill. Do a kick routine, jog in place, or walk some stairs. Any exercise that gets your heart pumping will work. Your energy level will increase and you might even look forward to working out.

Exercise while you do Chores

The more you move the more pounds you lose. If you exercise while doing your daily chores you’ll notice your body getting slimmer and your energy increasing. When washing dishes you can do side and back leg lifts. When vacuuming you can march, lifting your knees high. When picking up clothes or items from the floor, you can do a stretch by keeping your legs straight, bending at the hips and stretching as you reach for the object. You can jog on your way down the hall and do kicks as you mop. Be creative with this workout routine. You can even incorporate one of your 10 minute workouts as you do your chores. This will help you accomplish two tasks at once. Doing even one of the above solutions will help you raise your metabolism and shed some pounds.
