The Walla Walla City Council has declared that the wonderful new mural of a giant purple octopus above the storefront of the Inland Octopus Toy Store is in violation of city code. They claim it to be a sign and as such is too large, according to code. But, as you can plainly see, the sign hangs below the mural and is entirely separate and removable. So this mural is just that, a whimsical mural intended to draw children into the coolest little toy store this side of the Cascades. Help us grow this page so that the City Council will see the error of their ways. If you dig the giant purple octopus and think that it should stay, like this page and pass it onto your friends and family. Together we can save the endangered purple octopus!
