Joe Cooke presents a workshop on inner giftedness on Sunday, March 5th, from Noon-2 PM at the Unity Church of Peace, 810 C Street (near the airport).

Everyone is special. Everyone has a unique and wonderful contribution to make to the community. This unique contribution is a gift that must be given. When we are giving our gift, we feel alive, fulfilled and energetic. Although the term "gifted" is usually associated with children who excel academically, everyone has a gift. It may be leadership, spirituality, parenting, athletics, art, science or relationships, or academics.

Your own inner giftedness is often hard to explain or even measure, but you can learn to recognize and appreciate it. You can also learn how to better see the giftedness in others. By recognizing and honoring the gifts we have, we bring out the light within all of us. The stronger the feeling of giftedness is within a person, the more they shine.

But a strong feeling of giftedness can also create a strong shadow side, especially if the gift is refused or repressed.

Come to this unique seminar and explore tools and techniques that will help you understand your own gifts and shadows, as well as the gifts and shadows of the people you interact with every day.

This workshop is perfect for educators, leaders, managers, parents and anyone else who deals with people on a regular basis.

The workshop is free and open to the public, and child care is provided.
