Doctor Search Going Online for a Doctor

Don’t have a Doctor? Join the club!! About three years ago my family and I moved to a new state, about 350 miles from where we were living in Nevada. Everything to do with the transition went amazingly smooth, however, about a month after we moved my daughter came down with a nasty cold and really needed medical attention.
With our family doctor still in Utah, we tried to get in touch with a doctor in Nevada who was accepting new patients – this proved to be a real challenge! My wife and I had been going to the same doctor for years – by coincidence, we had the same doctor before we even met and he was happy to see our children as patients too.
We had made a few phone calls, but to no avail. We ended up taking our daughter to the emergency room at the local hospital, just so she could see a doctor and get the right antibiotics to help her with her cold, which turned out to be a mild chest infection. And after 6 and a half hours waiting in the E.R, she finally saw one.
How could we forget to sort out a new doctor before we moved? It totally slipped our minds and to see our little girl in discomfort, we knew that we had to act fast, ensuring this never happens again.
Where to begin? After an exhausting troll through the phone book and calling every family doctor listed in a hundred mile radius, I took my Doctor Search online.
Hurray - I found Edoctors.com! This was the miracle I had been waiting for and after less than sixty seconds after getting to the Doctor Search form, I was done! I just filled out a form on their site and clicked submit – about 45 minutes later I got a phone call from a Doctor’s office about 12 miles away asking when I would like to come in to see the doctor ?
In this modern world, I wasn’t surprised to find the answer to my problem online, but I was certainly surprised at how quickly I got a response from a real Doctor! Thanks again Edoctors.com
