Arland Wholesale Expands Into New Facility, Grows Wholesale Foodservice Business

Arland Wholesale, Walla Walla Valley's local independent wholesale foodservice and dairy distributor, is moving their operations to keep pace with their further expansion into wholesale foodservice products. By the beginning of May, Arland will have completed their move into their new facilities located at 1177 Abadie Street, which formerly warehoused the Odom Corporation.

Arland currently occupies a warehouse from the Port of Walla Walla located near the airport, and has been looking for a place to expand their business. The new facility will allow expansion with frozen, refrigerated, and dry goods which Arland distributes on a daily basis to convenience stores, restaurants, schools, and institutions as far away as Tri-Cities, Yakima, Hermiston, and Baker City. With over 20 employees, Arland looks forward to keeping pace with the ongoing growth of the Valley, which means expanding their product lines such as produce, frozen and refrigerated foods, candy, paper and disposable products, and other dry foods. Having their roots in the dairy and ice cream business, Arland expanded their product lines into wholesale grocery nearly six years ago. With the new location just off West Rose Street, Arland will be expanding their Cash & Carry business to meet customer needs for special orders, pick-ups, and special events in addition to regular deliveries. Future Cash & Carry expansion is in the planning stages.
